Frank Prather, Owner
Certified Personal Trainer

Founder and head coach of Sun House Fitness.

At age 19 Frank won the NPC Teen Mr. Maryland Bodybuilding Competition (Nice glory days reference Al Bundy) and soon after became one of the youngest personal trainers to be certified by the National Academy Of Sports Medicine. He applied the practical knowledge he gained as a competitive bodybuilder and powerlifter to train clients that included “regular” people, youth, nationally ranked HS soccer players, and even notable NBA athletes.

When he transitioned into the corporate world, Frank pivoted his own training focus toward functional fitness, and HIIT combined with traditional stength and conditioning. He researched and tested various approaches and exercise programs to help him train and compete in over two dozen Spartan Races, Tough Mudders, and other obstacle events.

Ultimately, Frank analyzed what he learned from a diverse cross section of fitness programs and athletic activities, using that aggregated knowledge to develop his own unique system of training. It combines the most effective facets of functional training, high intensity intervals, strength, and conditioning. And all of it can be applied by anyone, at any age or fitness level, to improve health, fitness, and overall well-being.. He’s also developed a foundational nutrition plan to help clients lose weight, gain muscle, and get healthier.

Today Frank trains daily ,rucks, and occasionally practices Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (poorly). He studies advances in longevity and vitality at all stages of life because he wants to live forever while maintaining a high level of fitness (and perfect hair). His passion is utilizing his lifetime of studying and practical experience to help others adopt a healthy, fitness oriented lifestyle and achieve their goals.

He holds a current Personal Trainer certification from the International Sports Sciences Association and a Precision Nutrition L1 Certification.

When he’s not working out, training clients, or spiking his hair, Frank spends his time with his wife Lisa and 9 year old son Frankie (the 4th).

Chelsie Lapointe
Yoga Teacher

Chelsie began her Yoga journey back in 2020 and quickly fell in love. After busy days as an elementary school teacher, she really looked forward to the time she dedicated to her practice as a key piece of her self-care. In December of 2022, she attended a Yoga Retreat in Costa Rica that inspired her to complete a 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training. After moving from Massachusetts to Wilmington, she underwent training at Yoga Salt of Wilmington, led by Tamal Dodge, and graduated in March of 2023.

Chelsie believes in the healing power of Yoga -mind, body, and spirit- and is inspired to share this transcendentally empowering practice with the world. Yoga has ultimately helped her banish self-limiting beliefs about her own strength and brought her closer home to herself.
